The Challenge

Every year more than 170 million migrants (excluding refugees) and 7 million students move to a new country. Most of them need to learn and adapt to a new culture or lifestyle. This 'settling in' a new country takes time, often a few years and are met with following challenges : 1. No structured support system post formalities of moving. 2. Constant stress & fear of the unknown & ‘the worst case’. 3. Lack of reliable information to solve niche personal issues. 4. Changing personal situation leads to fresh ‘issues’.

The solution

Help newcomers settle in a new place by providing them with easy, personal, up to date and authentic guidance at their fingertips. The goal is to go beyond the generic collection of endless articles and unmoderated forum conversations to an easy to consume information setup which suits newcomer’s personal situation, while giving an opportunity to directly interact with people having experience and expertise with similar situations. Provide a platform for the 'settled' to help newcomers at scale with their accumulated experience, information & practical tips on subjects which are impossible to capture within existing mediums.
