Samaritance
Time is the most valuable resource each of us has in life, yet one misstep can put this time, and its quality, in jeopardy. Traffic accidents cause 20 to 50 million people annually, to face this grim reality, making it the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 (source: WHO, 2023). In these accidents, the difference between life or death is decided by mere seconds, but many of those crucial seconds are lost due to inefficiencies in the call for and subsequent help. Individuals could find themselves injured in isolation, bystanders may hesitate to act, or critical information needed for aid might be unavailable.

Biocrafts
The conventional construction industry heavily relies on materials like concrete, which significantly contribute to global carbon emissions and environmental degradation. This traditional approach is deeply entrenched, with a marked resistance to adopting greener alternatives despite the urgent need to reduce the industry's carbon footprint. The persistence of these methods exacerbates the problem, as it not only hampers efforts to combat climate change but also overlooks the potential of sustainable materials that offer equivalent durability and cost-effectiveness. Our venture aims to challenge this status quo by demonstrating that eco-friendly construction materials can align with industry standards while significantly mitigating environmental impact.

The Netherlands has one of the worst water qualities in the EU when it comes to ground and surface water. Especially the excessive use of fertilisers has resulted in 40% of samples exceeding the EU limit of nitrate concentration. Too much nitrate is unhealthy, harms ecosystems and destroys biodiversity.

The problem we are facing is multi-faceted: many products on the market today are priced without consideration for the true cost of production and consumption. This leads to a variety of issues, including environmental degradation, exploitation of resources and labor, and unsustainable business practices in the long term.

International students who aspire to participate in (especially collective) sports collectively often face challenges due to a lack of connections and networks within the local sports community. This limitation inhibits their ability to join teams or find opportunities for organized sports activities.
OptiWelfare
Across the globe, societies face the challenge of inefficient resource allocation, leading to disparities in access to essential services, economic opportunities, and overall well-being. This challenge stems from various factors such as limited data-driven decision-making, lack of transparency, and inadequate consideration of socio-economic dynamics.

The escalating issue of food waste in Central Asia, particularly in Kyrgyzstan, where almost 40% of food is discarded annually, presents both a challenge and an opportunity. As this waste accumulates, it not only strains the environment but also represents lost resources that could be repurposed. To address this, we propose a sustainable solution that aligns with the region's growing demand for affordable pet food: converting food waste into healthy cat food.
