AI Housing Search Bot
Our startup is tackling the acute problem of the housing crisis pervasive across major Western European cities, including Paris, Berlin, London, and urban centers in the Netherlands. This crisis is characterized by soaring rental prices, an overwhelming demand for rental properties, and the challenge of finding suitable housing quickly. As urban populations continue to swell, and the competition for limited housing intensifies, a significant portion of city dwellers are left facing financial strain, uncertainty, and limited options. Compounding this issue, existing housing search platforms lack the necessary personalization, often presenting options beyond reach due to high demand or specific criteria.

UPYourself
Many high school students lack essential skills that are crucial to their academic and professional progress. This gap makes the transition from high school to college ( / life after high school) particularly challenging. Schools sometimes try to tackle aspects of this challenge on their own, leading to inconsistency for students and sometimes a lack of continuity in their professional development.
SuFa
The fast fashion industry is notorious for its high-speed production, low-cost garments, and environmental degradation. Mass production and rapid turnover contribute significantly to pollution, resource depletion, and unethical labor practices. Consumers are often enticed by the affordability and trendiness of fast fashion items, leading to a culture of overconsumption and waste. This unsustainable cycle perpetuates the exploitation of both people and the planet.

People with physical disabilities encounter numerous problems every single day. One of the biggest obstacles that many might encounter are related to writing or typing. Say you need to type out a * to show that you are doing a multiplication, but you are unable to use both arms to press the shift and 8 key. This situation can turn out to be quite tricky, especially when you are trying to make a test or do some otherwise simple tasks. We initially found that the grades in school for some children with physical disabilities were taking big hits due to their inability to efficiently work with their computers. And this is where our story starts, with a teenage girl called Emily. She is a bright girl with cerebral palsy, but she just couldn't translate her intelligence to good grades due to her condition.

This disconnect highlights a pressing unmet need for a more personalized, engaging way to connect organizers and event-goers. We've observed a shift in market demand towards tailored content and experiences, yet the event industry lags in adopting these advancements. We are here to adopt a new way of finding and marketing events by absolutely revolutionizing the engagement between customers and organizers!
Graphene Supply Chain
The concrete industry is under pressure to find solutions that reduce environmental impact while improving material performance. The use of graphene-enhanced concrete in the Netherlands is expected to lead to the construction of more durable and sustainable structures. This is particularly important in a country known for its advanced engineering and water management projects, where the strength and longevity of materials are crucial.

Every year, a staggering 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted worldwide. That squandered ¼ of the world’s freshwater, 28% of agricultural area, and needlessly produced 4,4 gigatons of greenhouse gas emissions! In the Netherlands, consumers toss out around 33.4 kilos of food per person annually. But here's the juicy part: among all this waste, fruit peels stand out as nutritional powerhouses, packed with vitamins, minerals, and health-boosting compounds. Utilizing fruit waste not only reduces pollution but also contributes to a more sustainable and circular economy. But how could we?
Emito
Emito started as a project at HAN University and the Dutch police to ease parking pressure at police stations. But deeper analysis revealed a bigger issue: employee commuting habits. This led to Emito evolving into a mobility app, backed by the university and police interest, transitioning from project to start-up. The challenge lies in employee commuting habits, impacting environmental sustainability and compliance with regulations like WPM (Werkgebonden personenmobiliteit) and CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). Many companies lack clear strategies for WPM kilometre registration and struggle with regulatory compliance. Additionally, there's a need to make sustainable commuting more appealing and accessible. Emito addresses these challenges by promoting sustainable commuting and aiding regulatory compliance.
