The Challenge

Time is the most valuable resource each of us has in life, yet one misstep can put this time, and its quality, in jeopardy. Traffic accidents cause 20 to 50 million people annually, to face this grim reality, making it the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 (source: WHO, 2023). In these accidents, the difference between life or death is decided by mere seconds, but many of those crucial seconds are lost due to inefficiencies in the call for and subsequent help. Individuals could find themselves injured in isolation, bystanders may hesitate to act, or critical information needed for aid might be unavailable.

The solution

Our solution confronts time inefficiencies head-on by prioritizing the acceleration of first responders' reaction times. Through automated transmission of victims' medical data to medical personnel prior to their on site arrival, our product and service streamline emergency response protocols. Integration of cutting edge crash detection technologies into vehicles or travelers' accessories enables swift recognition of fatal accidents. In these critical scenarios, the rapid dispatch of victims' medical information to first responders holds the potential to significantly reduce response durations, mitigating risks associated with miscommunication, delays, and inadequate assistance, and minimizing the likelihood of permanent injuries such as brain damage, which often result from delays in emergency response, thereby increasing survivability rates. Leveraging onboard sensors, transmitters, or traveler's accessories such as helmets or watches facilitates seamless detection and transmission processes.

Mission

Our mission is to save lives by preventing injuries from worsening due to delays, increasing the efficiency of EMS response systems, preventing delays in data transmission, ensuring that individuals who are alone can be reached, and reducing the workload of the response system.
