I want to make an Ai planner for care, for instance hospitals, dentists etc. This ai planner needs to learn how fast a dokter is so that the agenda is filled more accurately. Also when there is some overtime, the patient will get messages etc.

The Dutch Healthcare system is currently under immense pressure, due to a combination of staff shortages, rising demand and many outdated administrative tasks. One of the biggest challenges is the frequent overrun on shifts. As a consequence, healthcare workers are stressed and the quality of patient care is reduced. Another problem is time that is lost to inefficient manual administrative tasks. This time could have been spent on patient care. Besides caregivers, also the institutions that have to pay all these overtime will benefit from a more efficient solution. In addition, the healthcare industry is not known as the most innovative sector. Other sectors are often faster than healthcare to implement new innovations like AI to streamline their operations. As a result, there are two needs: an operational need to reduce workload and inefficiencies, and a strategic need to modernize the healthcare industry. Healthcare is our initial target due to urgency and societal importance, however the same challenges exist in other sectors like transportation and logistics. They experience delays, overstaffing, manual planning and other inefficiencies as well. So, solving these problems in healthcare can be a springboard to other industries. Getting a more effective planner for this industry could cause the pressure to lower as there would be less overtime and it may also be possible to fit in more patients.
