SDC26 Educational Stand

Engineering students and factory trainees lack hands-on platforms to learn advanced Industry 4.0 automation. Universities often teach theoretical computer vision and manufacturing principles, but rarely provide physical equipment to practice integrating AI with mechanical systems. Consequently, graduates enter the workforce unprepared for zero-defect manufacturing. Simultaneously, industrial manufacturers face high training costs and defect risks when upskilling assembly operators directly on live production lines. There is a critical unmet need for a safe, practical training environment that bridges the gap between academic theory and the realities of modern AI-driven factory floors.

ZICHTBAAR

Residents know their neighbourhood better than the people who plan it. They see the dark underpass, the overflowing bins and the broken bench every day, but one email to the municipality reads as one person’s opinion. Complaints stay scattered, so planners cannot tell which problems affect many people and which affect a few. Without a shared, visible record of what residents want fixed, decisions about public space rest on guesses, and residents often see no result from reporting.

Scea

Critical systems are built and changed by many hands: developers, AI agents, suppliers, factories. When a buyer, an auditor or a supervisor asks what is inside a system, what changed and who approved it, organisations answer with documents, logs and their own word. A drone buyer cannot check that the software and parts in a unit match the specification. An auditor cannot check that a log was never edited. The outside party has to trust, not verify. EU rules now ask for more: DORA for financial institutions, and from 2027 the Machinery Regulation for machines.

The Easy Loop

Students often need a projector for one movie night, speakers for an event, or camping gear for a weekend. Buying these items can strain a limited budget and take up valuable space, while borrowing depends on knowing someone who owns them. Meanwhile, useful equipment sits unused nearby. The missing link is a convenient, trusted way to access it. Students need confidence that an item will be available and as described, while owners need reassurance that their belongings will be returned in good condition. Without that trust, sharing remains difficult and unnecessary purchases continue.

BorderBloom

Thousands of students move abroad to study after being sold false hope. Many agents and consultancies earn commission per enrolment, so they push students towards whichever university pays most and promise easy jobs, high salaries and simple paths to residency. The reality is often different: students struggle to find work in their field, underestimate living costs, and end up in debt, while their families have invested their savings. Honest, independent information about study programmes, job prospects and real costs is hard to find, leaving students and parents to make one of the biggest decisions without the full picture.

Launch Data Films

AI and developer-tool startups publish real launch numbers, like benchmarks and usage growth, but they rarely show them well. Many post a screenshot of a table or a generic AI video with no sources. Readers can't tell whether the numbers are right, so strong results get less attention than they deserve. Making a clear, correct film takes a designer and days of work that a small team doesn't have.

Unicorner Game

Football is the world's most popular sport, yet there are limited engaging and accessible ways for fans to test their knowledge and compete with others beyond watching matches or playing traditional video games. Existing football trivia games often lack replayability, meaningful competition, or a strong community aspect. Unicorner addresses this gap by offering a free, browser-based football knowledge game that combines daily challenges, rarity-based scoring, leaderboards, and competitions with friends. Our goal is to turn football knowledge into a fun, competitive, and social daily habit, bringing football fans from around the world together.

AI agents can perform complex work, but their users still spend time repeating preferences, rebuilding project context and correcting the same mistakes. Decisions are scattered across conversations and tools, making it harder to switch agents or resume work consistently. Instruction files and built-in memory help, but keeping them current across projects and providers takes effort. Developers and independent founders need a practical way to carry their decisions and standards into each task, while retaining control over their data and the choices that require their judgement.

Lawyers spend a large part of their week on work they cannot bill: sorting incoming documents, chasing missing paperwork, tracking deadlines across court portals, updating clients and re-entering data into disconnected tools. Small and mid-sized firms feel this most, because they lack the operations staff and IT budgets of large firms. Existing software waits for the lawyer to act, and AI chatbots only answer when asked. Nobody does the administrative work itself. Immigration law, our entry point, is the extreme case: high case volumes, document-heavy files and strict deadlines where administrative delays directly affect vulnerable clients’ legal status.

Joint

Many students and newcomers in the Netherlands struggle to earn flexible income despite having valuable skills. Without formal qualifications, professional experience, or local connections, finding opportunities can be difficult. At the same time, people looking for affordable tutoring, coaching, creative lessons, or practical help often rely on scattered social media groups, personal referrals, or platforms designed for established professionals. The unmet need is an accessible, trustworthy local marketplace where people can easily find affordable help or earn money from their existing abilities, while also building connections within their community.
